The Department of Public Works and Highways is now taking steps to support the usage of indigenous products and technologies in the implementation of infrastructure projects to help the government’s effort in promoting green engineering and minimizing the effects of climate change.

DPWH Rehabilitation Projects for Typhoon Ondoy and Pepeng damaged Roads, Bridges and Flood Control

DPWH PROJECTS LINED UP FOR PUBLIC BIDDING:

P1.4 Billion worth of rehabilitation projects for Typhoon Ondoy and Pepeng damaged roads and bridges in CAR, NCR, Regions 1, 2, 3, 4-A, 4-B and 5 are up for bidding within the next month under the newly approved JICA Loan No, PH-P246. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information on these projects at: Office of the Director, Bureau of Maintenance, 2nd Street, Port Area, Manila, Tel. Nos. 304-3618/304-3634/304-3634.

Also, some P1.9 Billion worth of flood control projects group in different contract packages under the “Post Ondoy and Pepeng Short-Term Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project” are for bidding in the next coming days.
