EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION AND RECOVERY OF MARAWI (EARRM) ADB LOAN NO. 3769-PHI

 PROJECT OVERVIEW:                                                                                  

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Ø    The Reconstruction and Development Plan for a Greater Marawi is a Master Development Plan geared towards inclusive economic growth for Marawi City and its peripheral areas. The plan advocates the role of infrastructure Development as a catalyst in developing new economic centers and viable living spaces.

Components of the project:    

                               ·     Transcentral Road Phase IV (16.82km)

·      Construction of Malabang Viaduct

·      Construction of four (4) Bridges

              ·      Construction of Main Drainages, Open Channels and two  (2) Connecting Bridges

·      Slope Protection Works

PROJECT IMPACT:

 Ø  Provide a viable solution in fully utilizing the capability of various infrastructure projects to serve as catalysts in building back a better Marawi.

 Ø  The project envisions to spark development in the peripheral areas referencing from Marawi City centered in the ideas of connectivity and community building. This shall be made evident through the improvement in the social, institutional and economic development sectors of the project areas.
