Engineer JOSE AL VICEDO FRUTO brought to his position three decades of work experience in the field of Civil Engineering, most of which related to Planning and Design.
Prior to his appointment as the Assistant Regional Director of DPWH Regional Office VI - Western Visayas, he was the Chief of Planning and Design Division and concurrent Chief of Staff of Regional Office VI. He also served DPWH Western Visayas in various positions from Civil Engineering Aide to Engineer II, III, IV and V.
ARD Fruto attended various seminars and conferences in the field of flood control planning, maintenance and management, and completed trainings on Project Management, Organizational Culture Change and Results Monitoring System.
On various occasions, he served as resource speaker for the regional events of Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE), Chamber of Real Estates and Builders Association (CREBA), and Rotary Club, among others.
ARD Fruto received his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of San Agustin and graduated Cum Laude. He has also earned Masteral units in Engineering Education from Central Philippine University.
He was born on August 13, 1964 in Bugasong, Antique.
