The DPWH 2022 National Women's One Month Celebration endeavors to highlight the gains achieved for women and girls, assess actions towards gender equality and look forward to steps that must be taken to ensure progress in empowering women.
The DPWH is taking part in the festivities honoring women. Under the direction of the Department of Public Works and Highways GAD Focal Point System (DPWH GFPS), GFPS Executive Members work with the DPWH GFPS Technical Working Group, DPWH GFPS Secretariats, and DPWH GAD Focal Persons who are strengthened and affiliated with the DPWH Central Office Employees Union and Legal Service in advocacy that promotes equal rights and treatment of all employees in the Department of Public Works and Highways agency, regardless of gender, religion, or lifestyle.
