The Department of Public Works and Highways issues this warning to the general public upon learning that an unscrupulous individual is posing as Undersecretary Ador G. Canlas, to solicit money from a certain technology solutions company.
Undersecretary Canlas will never entertain any action or request to solicit money and will not resort to any unauthorized government transactions. He has remained committed in upholding the core values of public service, integrity, professionalism, excellence, and teamwork of this Department.
Furthermore, we urge the public to avoid engaging with any individual or group soliciting money and remain vigilant to spear phishing schemes. Relatively, similar incidents should be reported immediately to the DPWH Stakeholders Relations Service at Hotline 165-02; (02) 5304-3370; (02) 5304-3280 or to the nearest Philippine National Police (PNP) station.
