Responsibilities:
The Assistant Secretary shall assist the Undersecretary in the overall supervision of the Planning Service (PS). He shall also assist the Undersecretary for Special Concerns and Chief of Staff of the Office of the Secretary for matters pertaining to legislative liaison.
Other Responsibilities:
• DPWH Alternate Representative to the National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB)
• DPWH Focal Person for the DSWD Kapit Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS) Program
• DPWH Principal Representative to the Working Committees of the OPAPP/Government Panel in the Peace Negotiations
• Principal Representative to the Inter-agency Technical Committee on Transport Planning (IATCTP)
• DPWH Alternate Representative to the INFRACOM - Technical Board
• DPWH Alternate Representative to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Board
• DPWH Permanent Representative to the Inter-Cabinet Cluster Mechanisms on Normalization (ICCMN)
