
Engineer Alex G. Bote started his career in the government as a Civil Engineering Aide II in the then Ministry of Public Works and Highways in 1984. He has remained to be in the Department and has risen from the ranks to become Officer-in-Charge of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Service.
Prior to his designation at the PPP Service, Engineer Bote was a Project Manager for Philippine-Japan Highway Loan Project Office and for the Roads Management Cluster I (Bilateral) of the Unified Project Management Office (UPMO).
He attended several seminars and training programs here and abroad on leadership, project management,
He is a member of the Road Engineers Association of the Philippines, Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers and the Free and Accepted Masons, Grand Lodge of the Philippines.
Engineer Bote earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering in 1984. He completed his Master’s Degree in Management in 1997 and Doctoral Degree in Education and Human Resource Management in 2005, receiving Excellence in Oral Defense Awards in both degrees. In 2012, he finished his Master’s Degree in Development and Management (Senior Executive Class) from the Development Academy of the Philippines, graduating with Leadership Award.
Director Bote was born in 1964, in the City of Malabon. His marriage is blessed with four children.
