The DPWH GFPS conducted an Online Forum on Cybercrime Prevention and Protection of Women to provide the DPWH women employees advices and tips on the prevention and protection of women against all forms of cybercrime.
The speaker for the forum was PLTCOL. Irene Cayetano Cena, CESE, OIC-Women and Children Cybercrime Protection Unit from the Philippine Nation Police Anti-cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG). She presented the salient points of the Republic Act 10175 also known as the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012. She encouraged women to be vigilant in posting personal details online which can used by criminals for their cybercrime activities. The activity were attended by 44 women participants from various offices.
