The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)-led by the Gender and Development Focal Point System (GADFPS) in partnership with DPWH Central Office Employees Union (COEU), introduced Men Supporting Gender Equality (MSGE) and DPWH COEU Women's Desk under the FLARE program of COEU and Legal Service.
MSGE was introduced during the National Women’s Month Celebration and collected signatures of Men from DPWH Officials up to Board of Directors of Central Office Employees Union. Last December 28, 2022, the Committee for Men Supporting Gender Equality (MSGE) was officially created through a “Special Order” no. 309 series of 2022 signed by Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan. Chairperson Undersecretary Roberto R. Bernardo will head the MSGE Committee together with many dedicated men of the Department.
