A portion of a primary road widened by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) now facilitates better accessibility in Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur.
According to DPWH Region 9 Director Cayamombao D. Dia, the improved 633-meter road section along Jct. Blancia-Molave-Josefina Road now provides a quicker and safer access for motorists going to various establishments in the province.
“The additional road space has made it easier for local communities to move agricultural products to adjacent markets, fostering socio-economic development in the city,” said Director Dia.
DPWH Zamboanga del Sur 1st District Engineering Office implemented the road widening project from two (2) to four (4) lanes in the amount of P10 million.
