Motorists are advised that the Department of Public Works and Highways-National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) will repair and reblock various national roads in Metro Manila this weekend starting 1AM of Saturday, May 6, 2017.
DPWH-NCR Director Melvin B. Navarro reported that the affected roads in Quezon City will include the second lane, southbound direction of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) from Roosevelt Avenue to Quezon Avenue; fifth lane of Commonwealth Avenue northbound before Litex Road; second lane of Quirino Highway from Mindanao Avenue to Bernandino Street; first lane of Congressional Avenue Extension, from Luzon Avenue to Visayas Avenue; and, second lane of Mindanao Avenue from Old Sauyo Road to Mindanao Tunnel.
Road works will also be undertaken in southbound direction of C-5 Road before Lanuza Avenue.
Director Navarro said that DPWH-NCR will strictly observe concrete reblocking using one (1) day-curing concrete mix to re-open affected lanes at 5AM of Monday, May 8, 2017
