The Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) will continue with its concrete re-blocking and repair of various major roads in the cities of Quezon and Pasig starting 11PM of Friday, May 19, 2017.
DPWH-NCR Director Melvin B. Navarro reported that road works in Quezon City will include the second lane, southbound direction of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue from JASMS to Times Street; fifth lane of Commonwealth Avenue northbound between Litex Road to Doña Carmen; second lane of Quirino Highway between B. Bernardino Street to T. Urbano; third lane of Congressional Avenue Extension between Luzon Avenue to Tandang Sora Avenue; and, second lane, northbound direction of Mindanao Avenue between Old Sauyo Road to Mindanao Tunnel.
DPWH will also undertake road works at southbound direction of C-5 Road before Lanuza Avenue in Pasig City.
Motorists are advised to take alternate route due to expected build-up at the affected areas which will be open to traffic at 5AM of Monday, May 22, 2017.
