The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will undertake concrete reblocking on six (6) major roads in Quezon and Pasig Cities this weekend.
DPWH-NCR Director Melvin C. Navarro reported that repair works from 1AM, Saturday, May 27, 2017 will cover the second lane, southbound direction of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue near Roosevelt Avenue; fifth lane of Commonwealth Avenue northbound before Litex Road; second lane of Quirino Highway between B. Bernardino Street and T. Urbano; third lane of Congressional Avenue Extension between Luzon Avenue and Tandang Sora Avenue; and, second lane, northbound direction of Mindanao Avenue before Old Sauyo Road, all in Quezon City.
Other than Quezon City, the southbound direction of C-5 Road before Lanuza Avenue in Pasig City will undergo repair and reblocking.
Affected motorists are advised to take alternate route to avoid traffic congestion near construction area.
Navarro said that with the used of one (1) day concrete mix, the newly-repaired lanes will re-open 5AM on Monday, May 29 2017.
