Eight (8) major roads in Metro Manila will undergo road repair and concrete re-blocking this weekend from 11PM of Friday, June 16, 2017.
The Department of Public Works and Highways-National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) has scheduled road works in Quezon City which will include the second lane, southbound direction of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) between Times Street and Quezon Avenue; inner lane, southbound direction of A. Bonifacio Avenue between N. Zamora Street and Catalina Street; second lane of Mindanao Avenue northbound near Road 20; fifth lane of Commonwealth Avenue northbound near Litex Road; second lane of Quirino Highway northbound near T. Urbano to Sauyo Road; third lane, Congressional Avenue Extension northbound between Luzon Avenue and Tandang Sora Avenue; and, first lane, westbound direction of Luzon Avenue between Commonwealth Avenue to Luzon Avenue.
Road reblocking will also resume along southbound direction of C-5 Road in Pasig City, between Julia Vargas and Las Tiendas.
DPWH-NCR Director Melvin B. Navarro said that the affected lanes will re-open at 5AM of Monday, June 19, 2017.
Motorists are advised to take alternative routes to avoid inconveniences in the affected areas in connection with road repair activities of the department.
