
The Department of Public Works and Highways will conduct repairs on nine (9) major roads in the cities of Quezon, Pasig and Caloocan starting Friday, August 11, 2017 at 11PM.
DPWH-National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) Director Melvin Navarro reported that road reblocking and repairs will be conducted in the following areas:
Affected areas in Quezon City include the second lane, southbound direction of A. Bonifacio Avenue between Del Monte Street after Binhagan Street; second lane, southbound direction of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) near Trinoma; second lane, northbound direction of Quirino Highway between Regalado Avenue North to La Mesa Dam; second lane, northbound and southbound direction of Mindanao Avenue near Road 20; third lane, northbound direction of Congressional Avenue Extension between Visayas Avenue to Tandang Sora; and first lane, westbound direction of Luzon Avenue between Commonwealth to Congressional Avenue Extension.
In Pasig City, road repairs will be undertaken at the southbound direction of C-5 road near Julia Vargas; and northbound direction of Manila East Road in front of SM East Ortigas.
Works will also be undertaken in Caloocan at the northbound direction of Mac Arthur Highway near Monumento Circle.
The DPWH advised motorists to take alternate routes to avoid build-up at construction areas.
With the use of one (1) day concrete mix, Director Navarro said roads will re-open on Monday, August 14 at 5AM.
