The Department of Public Works and Highways will conduct road repair and re-blocking activities this weekend starting 11PM Friday, October 13, 2017.
DPWH-National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) Director Melvin B. Navarro advised motorists that road re-blocking and repairs will cover 10 major roads in the cities of Quezon, Pasig, and Caloocan.
Affected roads in Quezon City consists of the following: along southbound direction of A. Bonifacio Avenue, outer lane, after Agudo Street to N. Zamora and inner second lane, Magnas to Lunas Street; inner lane, southbound direction of Visayas Avenue in front of Mercury Drug; truck lane, southbound direction of E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue after Greenmeadows Avenue; second lane, northbound direction of Mindanao Avenue after Road 20; first lane, northbound direction of Congressional Avenue Extension before Tandang Sora Avenue; second lane, northbound direction of C.P. Garcia Avenue from University Avenue to E. Jacinto Street; and first lane, northbound direction of Quirino Highway near La Mesa Dam Road.
In Pasig City, road repairs will be undertaken at the southbound direction of C-5 road near Julia Vargas; and southbound direction of Manila East Road in front of SM East Ortigas.
Works will also be undertaken in Caloocan at the northbound direction of Bonifacio Monumento Circle.
The repair works covering a total area of 4,443.18 square meters will be completed 5AM Monday, October 16, 2017.
