DPWH starts on 3 building projects in Cagayan capitol

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has started the construction of three (3) public buildings for Cagayan Provincial Government.
 
In a report to DPWH Secretary Mark A. Villar, District Engineer Danilo U. Tabilas of DPWH Cagayan Third District Engineering Office (CTDEO) said a total of P20 million projects have commenced at the Cagayan Provincial Capitol grounds in Tuguegarao City.
 
These include: the Provincial Engineer’s Office (PEO) main building costing P8.7 million; the Provincial Warehouse costing P5.9 million; and the Motorpool Office, Warehouse and Repair Bay costing P5.5 million, all of which are funded under General Appropriations Act of 2017.
 
According to Engr. Tabilas, target completion of the Motorpool Office, with Warehouse and Repair Bay is on December 2017 while the other two (2) projects will be finished by early 2018.
 
The buildings will replace the old structures that were destroyed by Typhoon Lawin in 2016.
