DPWH RESUMES ROAD REBLOCKING IN NCR THIS WEEKEND

The Department of Public Works and Highways-National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) will resume road repair and reblocking on eight (8) road sections in the cities of Quezon and Caloocan this weekend. DPWH-NCR Director Melvin B. Navarro said repairs will be undertaken starting at 11:00 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2017 on the outer lane and inner lane, south bound direction of A. Bonifacio Avenue, Sgt. Rivera; second lane, northbound direction of Mindanao Avenue from opposite Ramer Village to Mindanao Bridge I; fifth lane, northbound direction of EDSA from Howmart to Oliveros; and the third lane, northbound direction of Congressional Avenue Extension at Miranilla Gate in Quezon City. The second lane, northbound direction of C.P. Garcia Avenue from Baluyot Street to Pook Aguinaldo Street; first lane, northbound direction of Congressional Avenue from Virginia to Visayas Avenue; outer lane, northbound direction of Quirino Highway near Sacred Heart of Jesus in Quezon City; and the Bonifacio Monumento Circle in Caloocan City will also be covered by the repair. One (1) day curing concrete mix will be used for the repair so that abovementioned roads will be reopened at 5:00 a.m. on Monday, January 15, 2018. In the meantime, motorists are advised to take alternative routes while the repair is ongoing.
