The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed a 3-in-1 building that now serves as a Day Care Center, Multipurpose Hall, and Police Post in Barangay Teachers Village East, Diliman, Quezon City.

DPWH National Capital Region Director Melvin B. Navarro said the project costing P4.9 million was constructed by DPWH Quezon City District Engineering Office within four (4) months only.

“The building’s ground floor is intended to serve as the new Day Care Center or a Preschool Education Facility while the extension structure functions as a Police Outpost to help in the security of the residents and workers within the area,” said Director Navarro.

The second floor of the building is a Multipurpose Hall with an area of 82 square meters capable of catering public events.
