The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will continue its repair works of damaged national highway in the cities of Quezon and Caloocan this weekend.
According to DPWH National Capital Region Director Melvin B. Navarro, the road repair and rehabilitation will be carried out from 11 PM Friday, February 23, 2018 using one (1) day concrete mix so that the affected road lanes will be fully passable at 5 AM Monday, February 26, 2018.
In Quezon City, reblocking and repair works will be done at the northbound direction of: Quirino Highway from Pagkabuhay Road to Kingspoint, inner lane; Congressional Avenue Extension, corner Tandang Sora Avenue, 1st lane; Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) from Roosevelt MRT Station to Seminary Road, 5th lane; Congressional Avenue from Cagayan Street to Culiat Bridge, 3rd lane; and Visayas Avenue, in front of Department of Agriculture, outerlane.
Weekly repair works will continue at the Bonifacio Monumento Circle in Caloocan City.
Motorists are advised to use possible alternate routes due to traffic slowdown in the affected areas.
