The Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) will undertake road repair works in the cities of Quezon and Taguig this weekend.
According to DPWH-NCR Director Melvin B. Navarro, the road works will start 11PM Friday, March 10, 2018 and end 5AM Monday, March 12, 2018 covering seven (7) road sections with a total area of 3,020.15 square meters.
Road rehabilitation and repair will be done at the northbound direction of the following roads in Quezon City: Quirino Highway, from Pagkabuhay Road to Kingspoint, inner lane; Congressional Avenue Extension, between Tandang Sora Avenue to Visayas Avenue, 3rd lane; Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA), between Oliveros Street to Balintawak LRT Station, 5th lane; Congressional Avenue, between Cagayan Street to Culiat Bridge IV, 1st lane; Visayas Avenue, in front of PTV 4, outer lane; A. Bonifacio Avenue, from N. Zamora Street to Del Monte Street, middle lane. Also included is the southbound direction of A. Bonifacio Avenue crossing Sgt. Rivera, middle lane.
Road repair will also be undertaken along the southbound direction of C-5 Road between K0015+000 to K0014+370 in Taguig City.
Due to expected traffic slowdown in affected areas, motorists are requested to take possible alternate routes.
