The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will continue its reblocking activities and repair of roads in the cities of Quezon and Taguig starting 11PM Friday, March 16, 2018.
DPWH National Capital Region Director Melvin B. Navarro said that with the use of one (1) day concrete mix, six (6) road lanes will be repaired but will be fully passable at 5AM Monday, March 19, 2018.
Reblocking and repair works to be undertaken in Quezon City include the northbound direction of: Quirino Highway from Pagkabuhay Road to Kingspoint, inner lane; Congressional Avenue from San Beda Road to Visayas Avenue, 1st lane; Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) fronting Shell Gas Station to Oliveros Street, 4th lane; and A. Bonifacio Avenue, from Del Monte Street going to Mauban Street, outerlane. Also included is the southbound direction of A. Bonifacio Avenue crossing Sgt. Rivera, inner lane and Visayas Avenue, in front of Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO), outerlane.
Southbound direction of C5-Road in Taguig City from K00015+000 to K0014+(370) will also undergo road repair works.
Motorists are advised to use possible alternate routes due to traffic slowdown in the affected areas.
