The newly elected officers and board members of the District Engineers League of the Philippines (DELP) Region 2 took their oath of office in an Induction Ceremony held at the Department of Public Works and Highways Regional Office 2 last March 27, 2018
District Engineer Danilo U. Tabilas, DELP Vice President for Luzon, officiated the ceremony that was attended by the officials from different District Engineering Offices (DEO) in Cagayan Valley.
DELP's latest chapter officers for Region 2 include District Engineer Marifel T. Andes of Quirino DEO as President; District Engineer Lorna B. Asuten of Cagayan 2nd DEO as Vice President; District Engineer Editha R. Babaran of Isabela 3rd DEO as Treasurer; District Engineer Evelyn C. Costales of Isabela First DEO as Secretary.
Among the newly elected members also include District Engineer Edmund B. De Luna of Isabela Fourth DEO as PRO; District Engineer Rommel E. Fabi of Batanes DEO as Auditor; District Engineer Rosauro R. Guererro of Cagayan First DEO as Business Manager; District Engineer Rodolfo M. Torralba, Jr. of Nueva Vizcaya 1st DEO and District Engineer Glenn C. Miguel of Nueva Vizcaya 2nd DEO as Board of Directors; Assistant District Engineer Arnold M. Sabug of Quirino DEO as Assitant District Engineer representative; and District Engineer Reynato M. Ubiña of Isabela 2nd DEO as Adviser.
DPWH 2 Regional Director Melanio C. Briosos attended as the Guest of Honor and delivered the keynote address, motivating the new set of leaders to exercise their duties with utmost efficiency.
“I am indeed so honored and privileged to welcome you all for today’s Induction Ceremonies. We will witness the newly-elect leaders taking oath and pledging their commitment towards the attainment of our Department’s goals and aspirations in the field of Engineering and National Development,” he said.
