Motorists are advised that the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will resume weekend road repair on Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) and other roads in National Capital Region (NCR) starting at 11 p.m. on Friday, April 27, 2018.
DPWH-NCR Regional Director Melvin B. Navarro said that upon approved of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), repairs will be undertaken at three (3) road sections of EDSA which include the northbound direction fronting Vertis North to Trinoma Mall, 2nd lane, and the southbound direction from in front of M. Ignacio Diaz to P. Tuazon Boulevard, 1st lane from the center island and from Eugenio Lopez Street to after Scout Borromeo, innermost lane.
Reblocking and repair works will also be done at España Boulevard going to Quiapo, from fronting Ramon Magsaysay Highschool to near A.H. Lacson; Quirino Highway, from Lagro to near Mater Carmeli, outer lane; Congressional Avenue, from San Beda Road to Visayas Avenue, 3rd lane; and A. Bonifacio Avenue, from after C3, outer lane, northbound.
Director Navarro said one (1) day-curing concrete mix will be used for the repair works, hence roads will open at 5 a.m. on Monday, April 30, 2018.
