Three (3) sections of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) and four (4) other roads in Quezon City will undergo repair effective 11 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2018 until 5 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2018.
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has secured clearance from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) to conduct reblocking and repair activities at three (3) sections of EDSA which include the southbound directions from Arayat Street to M. Ignacio Diaz, 1st lane from the sidewalk and from Eugenio Lopez Street to after Scout Borromeo, 3rd lane from the sidewalk; and at the northbound direction fronting Vertis North to Trinoma Mall, 3rd lane.
Others scheduled for road repair include the northbound directions of Quirino Highway, from Bernardino Road to Rockville Subdivision, 2nd lane; Batasan Road, from Commonwealth Avenue to Katarungan Street, 2nd lane; Congressional Avenue, from fronting Business Bank to Mindanao Avenue, 1st lane; and A. Bonifacio Avenue, before Dome Street, inner lane.
DPWH National Capital Region Director Melvin B. Navarro advised the motorists to use possible alternate routes due to anticipated traffic slowdown in areas undergoing repair works.
