The Department of Public Works and Highways La Union First District Engineering Office (DPWH-La Union First DEO) announced the temporary closure at KM0267+830 of Manila North Road (MNR) in Catbangen, San Fernando City, La Union on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 11:30 p.m. for the construction of a pedestrian overpass in front of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU).
Construction activities will end at 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2016.
DPWH-La Union First DEO has installed appropriate directional signs to inform motorists about the said closure and advised motorists to take San Fernando Bypass Road as an alternate route.
