The Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region (DPWH – NCR) will undertake rehabilitation activities along Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) and two (2) other major roads in Quezon City.
DPWH – NCR Director Melvin B. Navarro said that the road repairs will be carried starting 11 P.M. Friday, June 15, 2018 to 5 A.M. Monday, June 18, 2018 at the following sections of EDSA: southbound direction after Arayat Street, 3rd lane from the sidewalk (Service Road) and in front of Francesca Tower to after Scout Borromeo, 3rd lane from the center island; and at the northbound direction near North Avenue – MRT Station, 2nd lane.
Repair works at A. H. Lacson Avenue near España; and at Batasan Road, from Commonwealth Avenue to Kalinisan Street, 2nd lane are also scheduled during this weekend.
DPWH obtained prior clearance and coordination with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) in anticipation of the expected traffic slowdown on areas covered by road repair.
