Motorists and commuters are advised by the Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region (DPWH – NCR) to expect traffic slowdown in portions of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) and some areas of Quezon City and Manila this weekend.
Regional Director Melvin B. Navarro said that road repair will be undertaken beginning 11 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2018 at three (3) sections of EDSA which include the southbound directions from Arayat Street to P. Tuazon Street, 4th lane from the sidewalk and from in front of Francesca Tower to after Scout Borromeo, 3rd lane from center island; and at the northbound direction before Trinoma Mall (Land Mark), 2nd lane from the sidewalk.
Road repair works will also be done at the northbound directions of A. H. Lacson Avenue near España; Batasan Road, from Commonwealth Avenue to Kalinisan Street, 2nd lane from sidewalk; Congressional Avenue, from before corner Jupiter Street, 1st lane; and Fairview Avenue, from Mindanao Avenue Extension to Jordan Plains Subdivision.
The repair works will be completed by 5 a.m. on Monday, July 2, 2018.
