The Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) will resume road repair and reblocking on three (3) road sections along Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) and five (5) other roads in Metro Manila this weekend.
DPWH-NCR Director Melvin B. Navarro said that repair works will be undertaken starting at 11 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2018 at the following sections of EDSA: southbound directions from Arayat Street to Ignacio Diaz, 4th lane from the sidewalk and from in front of Francesca Tower to after Scout Borromeo, 3rd lane from the center island; and at the northbound direction from Vertis North to Trinoma Mall, 2nd lane from the sidewalk.
Road works will also be undertaken at the southbound direction of Nagtahan Bridge Service Road, from J. P. Laurel to Ampil Street and at the northbound directions of Batasan Road, from Commonwealth Avenue to Kalinisan Street, 1st lane; A. H. Lacson Avenue, near Aragon Street; Congressional Avenue, before corner Jupiter Street, 1st lane; and Fairview Avenue, from Mindanao Avenue Extension to Jordan Plains Subdivision, 3rd lane.
One (1) day curing concrete mix will be used for the repair works so that the affected road lanes will reopen at 5 a.m. on Monday, July 9, 2018.
