DPWH Completes Bridge Connecting Region 1, 2, CAR

As a support to the newly-implemented K-12 program of Department of Education, DPWH - Cagayan 1st District Engineering Office recently inaugurated a two-storey classroom building at Claveria School of Arts and Trades in Claveria, Cagayan.

Cagayan 1st District Engineer Lorna Asuten was joined by DepEd District Supervisor Renato Hernandez and Claveria Municipal Mayor Cecilia Layus during the ceremony.

The building, which amounts to P 8.09 million pesos, houses six classrooms, each measuring 9.5 meters wide and 36 meters long. It was funded under the DepEd School Building Program while the planning and construction was spearheaded by DPWH.

“We continue to intensify our partnership with the Department of Education to ensure that all students under K-12 are being accommodated,” she concluded.

DE Asuten furthers that more school buildings are being built throughout the Region in support to the government’s K-12 program.
