
As of 12 noon, Wednesday, September 26, 2018, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) announced that eight (8) road sections in the Cordillera Administrative Region and Region III are still closed to traffic due to landslide, collapsed road, damaged slope protection, road slip and flooding.
Road sections that are impassable are the following:

4) Acop-Kapangan-Kibungan-Bakun Road

Over the past two (2) weeks, DPWH Regional and District Engineering Offices were able to clear a total of 77 roads that were closed due to Typhoon Ompong and effects of Habagat.
Partial cost of damage to infrastructure of Typhoon Ompong has reached P6.948 Billion – combined from P1.539 Billion damage to roads, P52 million to bridges, P5.278 Billion to flood control structures, and P78.30 million to public buildings.
