Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region (DPWH – NCR) is set to resume its weekend road repair and reblocking activities on four (4) road sections in the cities of Quezon and Pasig starting 11 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2018 to 5 a.m. Monday, October 15, 2018
DPWH – NCR Director Melvin B. Navarro reported that the affected roads in Quezon City will include Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA), southbound direction after Eugenio Lopez to before Scout Borromeo Street, beside MRT line and northbound direction from beside Trinoma Mall, 6th lane from the center island; and Batasan Road, northbound direction from Sinagtala Street to Batasan – San Mateo Road, 4th lane.
The southbound direction of Circumferential Road 5 (C-5), from after Julia Vargas to before Lanuza Avenue in Pasig City will also be affected by the road repair works.
Affected motorists are advised to plan their trips ahead and take alternate routes during this weekend to avoid expected build-up at the construction areas.
