DPWH Regional Office IV-A Tops Nationwide Maintenance of National Roads and Bridges Ranking

The Department of Public Works and Highways Regional Office IV-A has been ranked number 1 among the sixteen (16) regions in the 2015 Regional Performance Assessment Rating of national roads and bridges based on the report of Bureau of Maintenance.

The Region achieved a rating of 93.10% and has been reported to have the most number of district engineering offices with 100% rating in the maintenance of national roads and bridges. Five (5) out of the fifteen (15) District Engineering Offices of the Region were recognized for attaining 100%: Batangas I DEO, Quezon II DEO, Quezon IV DEO, Rizal I DEO and Rizal II DEO. The ratings for District Engineering Offices are based on the criteria set by Department Order No. 171, series of 2015 - degree/level of maintenance of national roads (60%), quality and quantity of completed rectification works, adhering to prescribed response time (25%), and submitted justification on remaining rectification works (15%).

With these achievements, Director Samson L. Hebra instructed the Region’s maintenance engineers to continue their exemplary performance of the Region in terms of road and bridge maintenance in order to sustain customer satisfaction.
