The Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) will continue with its concrete reblocking and repair of six (6) road sections in the cities of Quezon and Pasig starting 11 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2018 until 5 a.m. Monday, November 26, 2018.
DPWH-NCR Director Melvin B. Navarro said with clearance from Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), road works in Quezon City will include: Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA), southbound directions from Scout Albano to near Shell Gasoline Station, beside sidewalk; and from Scout Borromeo, near GMA 7, 2nd lane from the sidewalk; and at the northbound direction fronting Northstar Motor Corporation, 1st lane from the sidewalk.
Road reblocking and repair will also be implemented at Batasan Road, northbound, from near Civil Service Commission (CSC) Central Office, 4th lane from center; and Mindanao Avenue, northbound, from Mindanao Tunnel to Old Sauyo Footbridge, trucklane.
In Pasig City, the road repair works will cover the southbound directions of Circumferential Road 5 (C-5), from beside SM Aura, 4th and 5th lane from median; and from before the approach of Pasig Boulevard to C-5 flyover.
Motorists are advised to take possible alternate routes with the anticipation of the heavy flow of traffic along the affected areas.
