The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will conduct repairs on five (5) major thoroughfares in four (4) cities of Metro Manila over the weekend.
DPWH-National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) Director Melvin B. Navarro announced that the road reblocking activities will be conducted from 11 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2018 until 5 a.m. Monday, December 17, 2018.
In Quezon City, repair works will be done at Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA), southbound direction after Scout Borromeo to before Network Drive (GMA 7), outer lane and at the northbound direction after Oliveros Street, 2nd lane from the sidewalk; and Batasan Road from before Payatas Road, 2nd lane from center.
Reblocking activities will also implemented in Taguig City at Circumferential Road 5 (C-5), southbound direction beside SM Aura, 2nd lane from median.
In Caloocan City, works will be undertaken at the northbound direction of Mac Arthur Highway from between Callen Cuatro and Calle Uno.
Similar road repair will likewise be done in Valenzuela City, northbound direction from North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) to P. Dela Cruz.
Affected motorists are advised to take alternate route due to expected build-up at the construction areas.
