DPWH resumes reblocking in EDSA, C-5 this January 18-21

Motorists are advised that the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will continue its improvement works of national roads in Metro Manila over the weekend.

According to DPWH-National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) Director Ador G. Canlas, the road rehabilitation will begin at 11 p.m., Friday, January 18, 2019 and will cover Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA), northbound direction after Oliveros Street, 2nd lane from sidewalk; and at the southbound direction after Lagarian Creek to Ernie Garcia beside MRT.

Repair works will also be undertaken at Batasan Road, northbound direction before Payatas Road, 1st lane; the southbound direction of Circumferential Road 5 (C-5) fronting SM Aura; and before the approach of Pasig Boulevard C-5 Flyover.

Works will be undertaken at the southbound direction of Mac Arthur Highway from corner Calle Cuatro, Caloocan City and at Mindanao Avenue, northbound from P. Dela Cruz to North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) in Valenzuela City.

Due to expected traffic slowdown in affected areas, motorists are advised to take possible alternate routes, until sections re-opened at 5 a.m., Monday, January 21, 2019.
