The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will repair five (5) national road sections in Metro Manila over the weekend starting 11 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2019.
Director Ador G. Canlas of DPWH National Capital Region said reblocking and repair works will cover a total area of 1,878.5-square meters of road which include the southbound direction of Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) fronting Home Depot to Kaingin Road, 4th lane from center island; and after Lagarian Creek to Ermin Garcia Street beside the MRT Station both in Quezon City.
Works will also be undertaken at the southbound direction of C-5 Road particularly before Julia Vargas Street, Pasig City and the portion fronting SM Aura. In Manila, the northbound direction of Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard from Pureza to Ramon Magsaysay Bridge will also undergo repair works.
Motorists are advised to take possible alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion along affected construction areas.
Affected sections will be rehabilitated using one (1) day-curing concrete mix and will be fully passable at 5 a.m. Monday, January 28, 2019.
