This award was given last December 21, 2018 held at Calbayog City National High School Multi-purpose court, Calbayog City.
The district office has been the host of more than 50 senior high school students from the different schools within Calbayog City. The students under the STEM Strand were rotated among the technical sections, exposing them to different aspects of engineering work.
“As a Civil Engineering student, it was really great that I got the chance to experience the actual work of an engineer. I have gained so much knowledge; from maintaining of roads as well as planning and designing projects to its actual construction. I am very much thankful to DPWH Samar First District Engineering Office for everything I have learned,” said Pio Guiret, one of the student immersion from Calbayog City National High School.
As one of the stakeholders in the Work Immersion Program, DPWH Samar First will continually support and guide the next batch of senior high students that will enter its doors.
