Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Regional Office VI held the Regional Budget Forum 2019 at the Grand Xing Imperial Hotel in Iloilo province.
Spearheaded by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), DPWH-RO6 budget officers together with District Engineers and budget officers from the 15 District Engineering Offices (DEOs) and other various agencies are gathered together to discussed important matters on the 2019 Budget Execution and 2020 Budget Preparation.
The forum focused mostly on Procurement Planning and Costing, Technical Specifications Writing, 2019 Re-enacted Budget, Awards of Contractors under Re-enacted Budget undertaken through Early Procurement Activities (EPA), 2020 Budget Briefer for Personnel Services, Reminders for 2020 MOOE and Capital Outlay Proposals that cater issues and concerns on the government procurement plan by the year 2019-2020.
