Sections of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) and Circumferential Road 5 (C-5) will undergo road repair and maintenance this weekend starting 11 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2019 until 5 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2019.
Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) Director Ador G. Canlas said that the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has approved request for clearance to undertake road reblocking at the southbound direction of EDSA of about 990 lineal meters from Ermin Garcia to Monte de Piedad, 3rd lane from sidewalk.
In C-5, repair works will be implemented at the southbound directions fronting SM Aura; and after Lanuza Avenue to before Bagong Ilog Flyover.
The northbound directions of Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard going Cubao from Ramon Magsaysay Bridge to Pureza Street; and Fairview Avenue from Atherton to Regalado Avenue North, 1st lane from center island will also undergo rehabilitation.
Motorists are advised to take possible alternate routes due to expected traffic slowdowns in areas affected by road reblocking activities.
