
Students of D. Tuazon Elementary School can now occupy the 4-storey elementary school building completed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Quezon City First District Engineering Office (QCIDEO).
The P18.717-million worth school building is composed of 32 classrooms and is funded by the Department of Education (DepEd) under its Basic Educational Facilities Fund (BEFF).
DPWH-National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) Director Ador G. Canlas said that the project will address classroom shortage in preparation for the opening of School Year 2018-2019 this June.
The project is equipped with comfort rooms, cistern and water tanks, emergency exit stairs and fire protection facilities for the sanitation, safety and security of the students and faculty members.
