The Department of Public Works and Highways Regional Office I (DPWH RO I) is one of the recommended agencies by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) for the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) Bronze award.
DPWH RO I was awarded during the Regional Recognition and Awarding Rites on January 28, 2019 at the Diego Silang Hall, La Union Provincial Capitol, San Fernando City, La Union.
The recognition was received by DPWH ROI OIC, Assistant Regional Director Emmanuel W. Diaz and Administrative Division personnel headed by OIC Administrative Division Chief, Ms. Susan P. Estillore
CSC’s PRIME-HRM aims to assess and develop the maturity level of an agency’s competencies, systems, and practices in the four (4) Human Resource systems: 1) Recruitment, Selection and Placement; 2) Learning and Development; 3) Performance Management; and 4) Rewards and Recognition.
DPWH RO I passed the assessment and validation conducted by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Regional Office I and Central Office which makes it obtain the PRIME-HRM Maturity Level 2(Process-Defined) in the four core HR system as a result of its determination and deliberate efforts in adopting and instituting HR practices, systems, and competencies that are par with global standards.
Other Regional PRIME-HRM awardees were the Provincial Government of La Union, Local Government Unit of Bauang, La Union, Department of Social Welfare and Development Regional Office I, Department of Environment and Natural Resources Regional Office I and Balaoan Water District.
