PACC Commissioner Belgica meets DPWH field executives

Commissioner Greco B. Belgica of the Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) conducts briefing with the field executives from Luzon Operations of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to ensure that the DPWH officials and employees conduct themselves in a manner worthy of public trust. Commissioner Belgica reminded the Regional Directors and District Engineers who are the implementors of public infrastructure projects on the ground to fight and eradicate alleged graft and corruption in the agency by refraining from engaging in dubious transactions that may put the Department in a bad light. The anti-graft commission was created in 2017 by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte through Executive Order No. 43 and amended by Executive Order No. 73 to investigate complaints of corruption in government. Also present at the briefing are DPWH Senior Undersecretary Rafael C. Yabut, Undersecretary Roberto R. Bernardo, and Assistant Secretaries Eugenio R. Pipo Jr. and Antonio V. Molano Jr.
