The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will undertake concrete reblocking on three (3) road sections of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) and one (1) road section of Circumferential Road 5 (C-5 Road) effective 11 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2019.
DPWH-National Capital Region (NCR) Director Ador G. Canlas reported that the repair works will cover EDSA, southbound direction from New York Street to before Monte Piedad in Quezon City, 1st lane from the sidewalk; and at the northbound direction between White Plains Subdivision Gate 4, in Quezon City, 2nd lane and from 50 meters after Magallanes MRT Station to KM 29 in Makati City, outer lane.
Road rehabilitation will also cover the northbound direction of C-5 Road fronting SM Aura in Makati City.
The repair works will be completed 5 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2019 using one (1) day concrete mix.
DPWH advised motorists to take alternate routes to avoid traffic build-up at construction areas.
