The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will take advantage of the long weekend for its road reblocking activities in four (4) Metro Manila road sections starting at 11 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2019.
DPWH-National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) Director Ador G. Canlas said that with clearance from Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), repairs will be undertaken at two (2) road sections of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) which include the southbound direction from New York Street to Aurora Boulevard, 1st lane from the sidewalk; and at the northbound direction from KM 27+019 to KM 26+921, outer lane.
Reblocking will also be done at the northbound direction of Circumferential Road 5 (C-5) fronting SM Aura, middle lane; and at the southbound direction of Katipunan Avenue, from after F.B. Dela Rosa Street, truck lane.
The public are advised to take possible alternate routes due to expected traffic build-up on affected road sections which will open at 5 a.m. Monday, April 22, 2019.
