The Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region (DPWH – NCR) is set to resume its road reblocking activities in sections of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) and Circumferential Road 5 (C-5) starting 11 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2019 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2019.
DPWH – NCR Director Ador G. Canlas said that repair works in EDSA will cover the southbound direction of New York Street to Aurora Boulevard in Quezon City, 1st lane from the sidewalk; and at the northbound direction fronting Baliwag Transit to New York Street, 1st and 2nd lane from the sidewalk and from 50 meters after Magallanes MRT to KM 29 in Makati City, outer lane.
Repair works will similarly be undertaken at the northbound fronting SM Aura in Makati City, middle lane.
Affected motorists are advised to take alternate routes due to expected traffic build-up at the construction areas.
