The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will conduct repair and maintenance works of national roads in Metro Manila starting 11 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2019 until 5 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2019.
According to DPWH-National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) Director Ador G. Canlas, the road reblocking activities will cover Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA), southbound direction before New York Street to after Monte de Piedad in Quezon City, 2nd lane from sidewalk; and at the northbound direction fronting Baliwag Transit to New York Street, 1st and 2nd lane from the sidewalk.
Repair works will also be undertaken along the northbound direction of EDSA from 50 meters after Magallanes MRT to KM 29 in Makati City, outer lane.
In C5, reblocking activity will cover the northbound direction fronting SM Aura, beside sidewalk.
Motorists are advised to take possible alternate routes in anticipation of traffic slowdown along affected areas.
