The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will resume weekend reblocking/repair on 10 road sections in National Capital Region (NCR) starting 11 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2019 until 5 a.m. Monday, June 10, 2019.
With clearance from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), reblocking activities of DPWH-NCR will cover areas at Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA), southbound directions from before Aurora Boulevard, 1st lane from the sidewalk; from after Aurora Boulevard to Arayat Street, 1st lane from the sidewalk; from fronting Guzent Construction Equipment, 1st lane from the sidewalk; and from Magallanes-Baclaran Bus Stop to Magallanes-Alabang Bus Stop, outer lane; and at the northbound direction from before General Roxas Avenue to after Aurora Boulevard, 1st and 2nd lane from the sidewalk, intermittent section.
In C-5, repair works will be implemented at the southbound direction beside U-Turn Slot near Market Market, 2nd lane.
Repair works will also be undertaken at the northbound directions of Quirino Highway, from Belfast Road to Zabarte Road, 1st lane from the sidewalk; from General Luis Street near Banahaw Street bound to Caloocan City; España Boulevard from Ma. Cristina Street to M. dela Fuente Street; and at the southbound direction of Katipunan Avenue from after F.B. Dela Roxas Street to before approach of Aurora Flyover, 3rd lane from the sidewalk.
Motorists are advised to take possible alternate routes in anticipation of vehicular build-up along affected areas
