Some portions of three (3) major roads including Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) in Metro Manila will undergo repair by the Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) starting 11 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2019 until 5 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2019.
DPWH-NCR Director Ador G. Canlas said with clearance from Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), road works in EDSA will cover the southbound directions from before Aurora Boulevard, outermost lane; from Aurora Boulevard to Arayat Street, innermost lane; and from Magallanes-Baclaran Bus Stop to Magallanes-Alabang Bus Stop, outer lane; and at the northbound direction from before General Roxas Avenue to after Aurora Boulevard, 1st and 2nd lane from the sidewalk, intermittent section.
Road reblocking activities will also be implemented at Circumferential Road 5 (C5), northbound direction fronting SM Aura and Market-Market, inner lane.
In Katipunan Avenue, the road repair works will cover the southbound direction from before approach of Katipunan-Aurora Flyover, 3rd lane from sidewalk.
Motorists are advised to take possible alternate routes to avoid anticipated slow down of traffic along affected areas.
