A four (4) storey Hall of Justice Annex Building at Barangay Plainview, Mandaluyong City was completed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

In his report to DPWH Secretary Mark A. Villar, DPWH National Capital Region (NCR) Director Ador G. Canlas said that completion of the building is expected to fasten judicial processes in the city, as it delivered improvements in the building’s space and system.

The multi-purpose building was designed to create six (6) additional court rooms with corresponding judge chambers, clerk offices, archive room, and a library.

These are in addition to the eighteen (18) existing ones currently used by regional and municipal trial courts.

Aside from this, it will also be fully equipped with state-of-the-art e-court system that enables the transfer of data and transcripts to the higher courts, along with an adequate fire alarm and protection system to protect the voluminous court transcripts and evidences.

The project, amounting 29.6 million pesos, was funded under the 2018 General Appropriations Act and was implemented by the DPWH Metro Manila First District Engineering Office.
